The Global Journal Project is a non-profit organization that enables school communities to share stories and form relationships across international and cultural boundaries by raising awareness of global issues through the prespectives of member communities. Private, public and international schools collaborate in a student-run business to produce print and online magazines with content from partner-school communities. The profits earned by the various chapters are reinvested in service through community-based educational events and member-selected philanthropic projects.
This is the first year for the Francis Parker School Chapter, but founding officers Lou Tauber '16, Jay Gardenswartz '14, Thomas Marshall '14, Olivia Ghosh '15, and Kian Bagheri '15 have already raised $1800, and will have their first print piece out in May.
