Clothing & Backpack Drive
Austin Martin '13 is collecting boy’s clothes for teenagers at the McAlister Institute. Items needed are jeans, shirts, sweatshirts, jackets and socks. McAlister is dedicated to providing the highest quality drug treatment, drug intervention, and services to adults and teens throughout San Diego County.
Kasey Hutcheson '13 is collecting girls’ clothing for My Girlfriend's Closet. Their mission is to provide quality, gently used clothing, shoes and accessories free to economically disadvantaged teenage girls, in an atmosphere that enables them to shop with pride.
Sophie Solar '14, is asking for donations of new or gently usedbackpacks for the Embrace Program that works with the homeless population. There will be a prize for the advisory that brings in the most backpacks. Please put a piece of paper in the backpack with the name of the student and the advisor.
Items can be dropped off at the Linda Vista campus Administration Office, Middle and Upper School Offices and the Community Service Office located off the faculty parking lot.
