Our soccer team advanced to the CIF Championship game with a 2-1 victory over Coronado High School on Tuesday, February 26.
After outplaying the Islanders for most of the first half, the Lancers went down 1-0 early in the second half. Our girls quickly answered on a goal by Elisa Martinez. The Lancers scored the game winner on a rebound shot by Sasha Stephens with five minutes left on the court.
With the victory, the Lancers advanced to the CIF Championship game against #1 Bishops at Del Norte High. Game time is 6:30pm. The Knights and the Lancers have split their two previous games. Go Lancers!
